The 5th World Coffee Conference 2023 India (WCC 2023) is being jointly organized by the Coffee Board of India and the International Coffee Organization (ICO). This event operates as a statutory organization under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry. The conference will take place at the Bangalore Palace Grounds in Bengaluru from 25th to 28th September 2023.

The Chikmagalur Plantation Tour kicks off at 8:00 AM with pick-up from respective hotels in Bangalore. We all gather at the iconic Bengaluru Palace, where our exciting journey begins.
9:00 AM
At 9:00 AM, we bid farewell to Bengaluru Palace and set forth on our onward adventure.
12:30 PM
Around 12:30 PM, we arrive at the serene Hoysala Village Resort. Here, we enjoy a delicious lunch and take some time to refresh ourselves, preparing for the rest of the day’s exploration.
1:40 PM
By 1:40 PM, we visit M/s. Lakshmi Coffee Curing works in Hassan, where we get an exclusive look into the coffee curing process, learning about the intricate stages of coffee production.
3:00 PM – 4:30 PM
At 3:00 PM, we venture to the captivating Sri Hoysaleswara Temple in Halebeedu. This stunning monument visit extends until 4:30 PM, offering us a glimpse into the region’s rich historical and architectural heritage.
6:00 PM
As the day draws to a close, we reach Woodway Homestay at 6:00 PM. Here, we check-in and enjoy a delicious dinner, culminating our day’s adventures. The night is spent in the cozy comfort of Woodway Homestay, where we can relax and prepare for the exciting experiences that await us on the following days.
Day 2 – 24th Sep 2023
The second day of the Chikmagalur Plantation Tour promises to be just as exciting as the first.

At 6:00 AM, we start the day with a delightful cup of coffee at Woodway Homestay, setting the perfect mood for what lies ahead – a thrilling Wildlife Tour.
9:00 AM
Returning to the homestay at 9:00 AM, we enjoy a hearty breakfast and take some time to refresh ourselves, gearing up for the adventures ahead.
10:30 AM
By 10:30 AM, we embark on a fascinating Plantation Tour at Woodway Estates. This immersive experience takes us through the lush green plantations, providing valuable insights into the coffee cultivation process. As part of the tour, we also savor a delicious lunch.
2:30 PM to 3:30 PM
Following the tour, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, we take some time to rest and refresh at Woodway Estates, allowing us to soak in the tranquil ambiance of the surroundings.
4:15 PM
At 4:15 PM, we visit the captivating “World of Coffee,” where we get the unique opportunity to participate in a Cupping Experience. This experience deepens our understanding and appreciation of coffee, making it a memorable part of the tour.
6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
From 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, we partake in a Meet & Greet session with Planters and Stakeholders. This event offers a chance to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the love for coffee over a delightful dinner.
9:30 PM
As the day comes to a close, around 9:30 PM, we return to Woodway Homestay, where we halt for the night, cherishing the unforgettable experiences and camaraderie shared during the day.

On the final day of the Chikmagalur Plantation Tour, we prepare for the return journey back to Bengaluru.

At 8:00 AM, we enjoy a delicious breakfast at Woodway Homestay, savoring the last moments of our stay amidst the serene surroundings. After breakfast, we proceed to checkout from Woodway, bidding farewell to this charming homestay that has been our home away from home.
1:00 PM
From Woodway, we embark on our return journey to Bengaluru, aiming to reach the city by 1:00 PM. During the journey, we can reflect on the unforgettable experiences and cherished memories gathered during the tour.
Upon arriving in Bengaluru at 1:00 PM, we take some time to refresh ourselves and enjoy a delightful lunch before getting ready to attend the Inaugural Session of the event.
